For the mermaids at heart, I’ve got a magical world to introduce you to. After the wiles of experiencing 2020, we decided to begin a new journey into the magic of underwater photography. We have learned how to adapt the necessary instruction in order to produce stunning, mystical works of art for the everyday darlings attracted to these graceful portraits.

Though these gorgeous images look intimidating, similar to our boudoir sessions, we’ve maximized simplicity and a day filled with laughter, feeling like you couldn’t possibly be doing this right, and what past mermaids have lovingly referred to as “graceful drowning” will have you laughing at the memory while custom artwork is birthed! The only requirement to look amazing is an ability to swim well! These sessions are tiring!!

Your Experience in The Depths

a pixie gets its wings every time a client does an underwater session with us and GASPS at the results.

Babe, this experience is hilarious, fun-filled, awkward-in-the-best-ways, and will leave you feeling like there is no possible way you got it right. But you absolutely will. We’ve watched it over and over.

Similar to our regular sessions, we will start this party with prep emails to keep toes comfy & warm as well as offer tips & tricks to nail your session via youtube links & instructions on what to expect. We’ll also complete a session consultation to help you decide how we’ll approach this experience to make your art yours.

We have gorgeous gowns available to wear, will advise exactly what to look for if you want to purchase clothing that represents you and we absolutely love representing your gorgeous body in it’s beautiful au natural form.

These sessions are perfect for women who’s hearts are drawn to the water, pregnant mothers-to-be, imagining unique maternity portraits & the babes that played tea-party on the bottom of the pool.

You should be a proficient swimmer with good lung capacity, and a strong ticker to spend time under the surface with us!

These sessions are tiring, it’s hard work trying to be a graceful swan with oxygen deprivation muddling things up! :)

Besides that, we don’t need you to be particularly graceful naturally (*I will remind you a bajillion times to point your toes), or look any certain way.

These photos are gorgeous on every body, every woman, every soul who graces our depths.
Our main pool is in Andrea’s back yard and it is NOT heated, which makes our summer sessions refreshing (most of the time) and winter sessions more challenging!

We do have the use of a heated pool for less favorable warmth requirements, however, a premium is required.
NO! We thought it might be, but holy hannah these sessions are different! :)

These sessions are kind of awkward, we’re capturing graceful moments at a fraction of a second, and nothing about the process feels particularly ethereal, though the results say otherwise.

No posing is necessary, just the ability to point your toes, follow instructions & have the tenacity to keep going when it feels like it’s all wrong!
